MY STORY

Kiymora "Kay The Kreator" Smith is a New Jersey-based director of photography, cinematographer, producer, and editor who runs The Gold Standard Productions.

Kay is a Connecticut native who graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a bachelor's degree in communications and media studies. Kay The Kreator's impressive portfolio includes cinematography for Yucef Mayes' award-winning short films Zahra and The Oil Man, behind-the-scenes and still photography for 40 Acres & A Mule Filmworks, and cinematography for GRAMMY and Academy Award-Winning Artists.

Kay hopes that as The Gold Standard Productions expands, she will be able to devote more time to her own creative endeavors, such as writing and directing a few short films of her own.
